Sightings of Rare Species


If you see a rare species such as a turtle, strange fish, sea snake or other form of marine life not normally seen in South Australia, please report it to the South Australian Museum.

  • Location and number of animals

  • Your name and contact details of person who first reported the sighting

  • Details (including description) of the plant and/or animals involved

  • Are there sick or injured animals requiring treatment?

  • Are there any photos available?

  • Any other details which may be relevant
