Mineral Identification Kit
The kit is a hands on educational resource designed to engage budding geologists/earth scientists in Geo-scientific detective work.
It aims to develop skills in identifying and naming mineral samples and to foster an awareness of the uses of minerals in everyday life, such as finding out what minerals go into making medicines, cosmetics and jewellery.
Kit Contents
The kit contains 12 high quality Mineral specimens, Identification Tools and a Laboratory Book of instructions and educational activities.
Cost and Ordering
The Mineral Identification and Uses Kit is available
at a cost of AU$55 (inc GST and postage and handling).
