Core Library Sampling

Exploration companies in South Australia are required by law to provide representative samples of any core and/ or cuttings taken during tenure.

Guidelines for the submission of core and cuttings samples include specifications for containers and labelling requirements.

Petroleum core and cuttings submissions must be forwarded to DMITRE, accompanied by the appropriate submissions form (.PDF) or submissions form (.doc)

All open-file drillhole samples held at the DMITRE Core Storage Facility are available for inspection on completion of the Request to inspect drillhole samples form.
