Young Farmers Dought Program

The planning session for Young farmers (aged between 18 and 35 years) was held on March 18. The session will contribute to the content for the 2008 Drought Program - skilling young people involved in primary production.

Applications are now open for the 2008: Young Farmers Drought Program. Two Programs will be run this year;

Program 1: 28 April - 1 May, at Chifley on South Terrace, Adelaide with follow up session 3 - 4 June being held at Comfort Inn Haven Marina, Glenelg.

Closing date for program 1 applications is 14 April 2008.

Program 2: 26 - 29 August at Comfort Inn Haven Marina, Glenelg with follow up session 9 - 10 October being held at Chifley on South Terrace, Adelaide. 

Closing date for program 2 applications is 28 July 2008.

Please consider putting in an application if you are between 18 - 35 years of age and currently involved in primary production in Exceptional Circumstances declared area of South Australia.

2008 SA Rural Women's Gathering to be held at Mount Barker 22 - 24 August 2008 - 'Fruits of Life'.

RIRDC Rural Women's Award

The 2008 RIRDC Rural Women's Award SA presentation held in Adelaide 12 March 2008.

The National Presentation Dinner will be held in Canberra on the 27 May 2008 (tbc).

State Conference 2008

The State Conference for 2008 will be held at Hawker on 31 July and 1 August 2008.
