Crop & Pasture Reports

Each month PIRSA publishes a report on the condition of Crops and Pastures in South Australia. During the cropping season (May to after harvest), estimates of the area and production for each crop and district are also provided with the report. The report is assembled by regionally based Rural Solutions SA consultants under contract to the Agriculture Food and Wine Division, Grains Industry Development section.

The Crop and Pasture report has:

  • Comparison with previous seasons and "season to date" for each month
  • links to DWLBC Land Condition report
  • Also links to the National Agriculture Monitoring System (NAMS)

The estimates have been quality checked which has required some adjustments to be made. The table in the current report has the updated estimates which may vary slightly from tables in previous year's reports on this site.
